Dubai Prosecution and Community Development Authority constitute a panel for the affairs of children from unknown parents

Dubai Public Prosecution held a meeting with the Community Development Authority in the presence of Sheikh Maktoum bin Butti Al Maktoum, Executive Director of Social Welfare and prosecutor Mohammad Rustom Bu Abdullah head of the Family and Juveniles Prosecution.

This meeting was to enhance social fabric and to participate in accordance to the principle of excellent government between the prosecution and the authority.

The meeting included a presentation of statistical number of children from unknown parents in Dubai and identification procedures for this category and the services provided to them.

The leadership of the Public Prosecution has main intensity to proceed in such meetings in order to reach results in the interest of the community.

Sheikh Maktoum Bin Butti Al Maktoum suggested making a team from Public Prosecution and the Community Development Authority aims to develop an idea about their respective roles, based on visits by the authority for several countries including Lebanon, Qatar and the rest of the UAE, adding that the goal is to standardize procedures to serve this category.

Prosecutor Mohammad Ali Rustam Bu Abdullah welcomed the suggestion, insisting to hold several meetings between the experts from both sides to prepare the final concept.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Issa Mohammad Al Sabet Chief Prosecutor Assistant, Sana Alagamani head of the Social Welfare Department in Dubai prosecution, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammad Al Lenjawi major investigation writer and the secretary, as well as Mr. Ahmed Al Muhairi, Executive Director of community support, Iman Al Zarouni, director of the Centre community, and Mr. Mohammad Mohsen Director of the Centre Office.
