“ Dubai juvenile and family prosecution”
Next week the Indictees in “ Ali crime “ before the court.
The Chancellor Mohammad Ali Rustom BuAbdalla, Chief Prosecutor, at the Family and Juvenile Prosecution declared that Dubai Prosecution was about to complete the investigation process with the accused in murder case of Ali Mohammad Hussein (13 years), local nationality, to be in the court in a week time.
He said: “ the Working team was formed for investigation is waiting the medical report from Dubai Police, and to review the case by The Chancellor Issam Issa Al Hemidan, the Attorney General of Dubai Public Prosecution then refer the case to the court”
This is the first murder case investigated by Juvenile and Family Prosecution that have been established in last september, where was the cases distributed between several prosecutions.
The crime was took place last Thursday, in Al Rashidiyeh area, where a group of teenagers assaulted the kid Ali and killed him with 11 stab knife.
Al Rustom said:” According the the first investigations which has been conducted by the chief prosecutor Shihab Ahmad Mohammad, there is 5 involved defendants to commit this crime, two of them are the main accused, and the other three they have participated in the crime.”
He mentioned: “ it's very difficult to define the killing's cause, but we have strong evidence, We didn't classified the defendants as teenager yet, as we have requested the passport to ensure that.
Refereed the the federal law for the juvenile, is the teenager who is below 18 years old while he committed the crime, or who was found in a displacement situations
Al Rustom said: “ we listened to 10 witnesses, where they statements are almost alike, and will listen to another two witness in the next two days, where the majority of the witness are teenagers they don't give a strong or clear information because are still affected of what they saw, therefore we are making sure that we are receiving a correct information.”
He continued:” The witness are divided into people who has seen the incident once it occurred, and the people who saw the victim on his last breath, some of the testimonial are strong where other are weak, but we are taking advantage from any witness even if they are having simple information.
As per the first investigations conducted by the witnesses, the main reason to commit this crime is described as arguments between teenagers, adding the victim was not involved in those arguments.
Al Rustom emphasized to accelerate the investigation procedures, which usually take seven days only, he pointed out that we don't receive a large number of crimes committed by juvenile using swords or knives, although there is few reports about this kind of arguments, and the raison is because the lack awareness of school administrations to inform the police and the absence of family's monitor for their children.
Al Rustom did not report any further details for investigation confidentiality and respect the circumstances of the victim's parents.
