General Prosecution specializes in the following:
¨ Administrative and technical supervision over the penal prosecutions.
¨ Preparing the annual plans for the prosecutions, performance indicators as well as following-up its implementation.
¨ Preparing attendance schedule for the prosecutors to the court sessions and sessions for extension of preventive detention.
¨ Managing the supervision over the detention places, preventive detention and preparing the schedule for its inspection.
¨ Supervising over the investigation secretaries, preparing individual aims, assignments and behavioural competences, training, assessing, approving leaves and re-distributing them for the prosecutions.
¨ Holding regular meetings with the courts of first instance and the concerned departments in the Dubai Police General H.Q. as per the memorandums of understanding so as to develop the work and coordinate the efforts.

¨ Following-up the execution of the judgments issued with punishment or measure against a juvenile.
¨ Cases and reports decided by the Attorney General to be assigned.
¨ A number of social experts will be joining the Public Prosecution so as to study and prepare the reports about the cases of juveniles as well as family cases and extending the necessary support with regard to the reconciliation and other works of juvenile and family prosecution.
