1. INTODUCTIONAL FORWORD
- Naturalization and Residency Prosecution is a part of The Public Prosecution – Dubai. It is a specialized Prosecution concerned with Investigation and Action in the crimes and incidents that breach the Law of Entry and Residency for Foreigners No.(6) of the Year 1973 and its Amendments as well as some violations of the regulations set forth in the Labor Law of The United Arab Emirates in the framework of co- operation and partnership with certain strategic partners.
¬- Its Supervision is assumed by a Prosecutor who is not less than a Chief Prosecutor in power. He will supervise from technical and managerial aspects and distribute the duties to be discharged among the other Prosecutors and the whole staff personnel concerned.
The new building for Naturalization and Residency Prosecution was inaugurated on 06/09/2009.
2. SPECIALIZATION OF NATURALIZATION AND RESIDENCY PROSECUTION
- The Prosecutors of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution initiate the investigation and following legal actions in the Cases coming from the Administration of Investigation and Follow up of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai as well as all Police Stations of Dubai.
- Representing the Public Prosecution in front of the Court of Naturalization and Residency at the stage of Judicial Trial and during the extension of the custody of the accused.
- Reviewing the Orders given by the Court of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution and checking if there is an appeal for them or not, as well as preparing Memorandum of Appeal for it.
- Checking the Affidavits of Custody transferred form the Ministry of Labor and making sure whether the set conditions are duly followed or not, before transferring them to the Administration of Investigation and Follow up at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
- Revision and provision of notes and suggestions on the related Laws.
- Receiving applications from the Customers and executing them with maximum level of possible speed and efficiency and rendering them any assistance.
- Conducting regular and periodical inspections to the detentions of Authority of Investigation and Follow up to make sure that no Law is breached any where.
- Coordination with the concerned authorities both local and federal in sake of work advancement and efforts coordination.
- Taking part in rendering legal awareness for the public.
3. THE ORGANAIZATIONAL STRUCURE OF NATURALIZATION AND RESIDENCY PROSECUTION
- The areas of work at the Naturalization and Residency Prosecution has got divided into Technical and Managerial sections under the supervision of The Chief Prosecutor. The former is initiated by the Prosecutors while the latter is discharged by the Department of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution.
The Counsel Mr. Ali Humaid bin Khatem assumes the leadership of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution and along with him each of the following members also work :

2) Mr. Ahmed Yusuf Al Ali
3) Mr. Nasser Muhammed Al Maamari
4) Miss Amna Juma Hasan Bu Kattarah
5)Miss Hanan Muhammed Al Sayyid Al Hashimi
The Department of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution is headed by Mr. Saif Saeed Al Qorusi and is assisted by Mr. Saeed Obaid bin Khadem.
- The Department undertakes the management and conduction of Cases of Naturalization and Residency according to the following stages: the stage of Registration – stage of Court Trials and the stage of Implementation.
- The Department also deals with the due follow up of the Cases transferred , correspondence with the concerned bodies and reception of applications from the customers and implementation of them.
