• This prosecution is headed by a prosecutor having a rank not less than the chief prosecutor and specializes in the distribution of works among the prosecutors working with him in addition to administrative and technical supervision. The Drugs Prosecution has the following jurisdiction :
1. Investigation and disposal of offences punishable under the Federal Law No. (14) of the year 1995 concerning the drugs and mind-altering substance and its amendments.
2. Coordinating with concerned federal and local authorities with regard to drugs so as to upgrade the woks and coordinate the efforts.
