The strategic plan of the Dubai Public Prosecution (2007-2015) represents a modern and comprehensive approach following on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. It is built primarily on justice and safety as delineated in the UAE Federal Strategy and the interrelated Dubai Strategy.

Our plan is based on a solid platform resulting from our legal mandate, global best practices and the high standards set by the Dubai Executive Council for corporate performance, as stated in the Dubai Government Excellence Program. Our strategic objectives are aimed at positioning the Dubai Public Prosecution amongst the world’s most distinguished administrations in terms of justice and excellence.

As directed by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Public Prosecution strategy gives priority to the development of the existing judicial policies and practices in collaboration and close relationship with its strategic partners, to assure best utilization of time and efforts needed to upkeep and protect people rights.

This strategy is the outcome of a comprehensive review and assessment, and the in-depth realization of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to embark on a national mission towards intelligent judicial practices that can meet the demand of the growth we are witnessing in the emirate and the country in general.

The Public Prosecution exerts great efforts to achieve its mission in a strategic orientation whose results and efficiency are evaluated on a regular basis in view of the great development of Dubai and the nation in general.
